Sherborn Snappers dive into summer season at Farm Pond
July 5, 2026 · By the Acorn Staff

The Sherborn Snappers Swim Team has returned to Farm Pond for another summer of competitive and recreational swimming. The team, open to residents of Sherborn and Dover, practices in a six-lane, 25-yard pool built right into the pond between 180 and 220 Lake Street.
The Snappers focus on developing proficiency in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, with coaches emphasizing personal improvement alongside team success. Practices began the first Monday after school let out and run through the summer season.
Registration for the 2026 season was handled entirely online at $275 per swimmer, with families also required to register through the Sherborn Recreation Department. New this year, the team is sporting green and black Sporti Molecule suits, with a fit kit available during the first week of practice to help swimmers find the right size.
Parking passes for Farm Pond are required and available at Town Hall with current car registration. Dover families in their first year may obtain a swim-team-hours pass for $90. For meet schedules, practice times, and team gear, visit the Snappers website.
