New trail maps now available at the Library

The Sherborn Trail Riders Association and the Conservation Commission have jointly published an updated set of trail maps covering all 60-plus miles of marked paths in town, including the newly opened Rocky Narrows link. The waterproof, foldable maps are now available free at the Sherborn Library circulation desk and at the Town Clerk's office.
Digital versions in PDF format can be downloaded from the town website. The maps mark trailheads, parking areas, and points of interest such as the Death Eddy Brook crossing, the old mill ruins on Western Avenue, and the newly cleared overlook at Heard Farm.
Trail steward coordinator Alice Brennan said the previous maps, last updated in 2018, had become outdated as easements changed and new segments were added. "We've lost some old routes and gained new ones," Brennan said. "This is the most accurate map we've ever produced." The association plans to update the maps every three years going forward.
